Dr. Fernando Reyes, Head of Chemistry at Fundación MEDINA, participated as invited speaker in the virtual seminar "R&D of marine biodiversity and its associated microorganisms", which took place on July 21 - 22, online, organized by the peruvian Ministry of Production with the support of the GEF-ABS-Nagoya Project. The seminar was conceived as a space to encourage the participation of companies and institutions that perform R&D activities on marine biodiversity and its associated microorganisms, within the framework of the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol in Peru.
Fernando shared MEDINA's experience in this field through his talk “Marine actinomycetes as a source of new bioactive molecules”.
