Dr. Fernando Reyes, Head of chemistry at MEDINA attended the seminar “From ocean to lab: Marine genetic resources and their application in the production of novel bioactive molecules” organized by CETMAR on the 9th of November in Vigo as a communication activity of the BlueHuman project. He discussed the Creation and exploitation of marine natural product extract collections as source of new bioactive molecules and shared his experience in the rational design and generation of marine extracts collections as well as selected examples on the successful utilization of such collections in the discovery of new molecules with interesting biological properties.
