At the end of June, Daniel Oves from MEDINA participated at the Summer School on Marine Sampling organised by CIIMAR and CIIMAR-Madeira.
The participants, all members of the BLUEandGREEN project, had the opportunity to learn field sampling strategies in marine biotechnology.
The Summer School programme included both Lectures and Practical Lessons on: Madeira Marine Biodiversity, legal aspects of marine sampling; biodiversity, techniques used for field-work, Sampling techniques, labelling and preservation: Scientific Diving techniques.
The lessons were held at Funchal Natural History Museum, Naval Club of Funchal and Marine Biology Station of Funchal.
