MEDINA participated in the recent paper “What’s new in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer: a patent review (2011-present)” for the journal Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Patents together with researchers from Dr. Juan A. Marchal´s group from the Instituto Biosanitario of Granada (ibs.Granada) and the University of Granada. This article updates on the improvement in pancreatic cancer diagnostic through the analysis of the latest registered patents. Together with the other one published a few months ago in the same journal, “What's new in treatment of pancreatic cancer: a patent review (2010-2017)”, these articles give a global point of view on the discoveries and trends in this type of cancer research. Fundación MEDINA works actively in this therapeutic area through collaborative research.
