From March 14–16, Fundación MEDINA has attended BIOPROSP_23, the 11th biennial international scientific conference on applied research in marine biotechnology and bioprospecting, celebrated at The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø.
Prior to the opening of BIOPROSP_23, EU-OPENSCREEN hosted a Workshop on Natural Product Bioprospecting. Olga Genilloud, scientific director at Fundación MEDINA contributed with her talk on “Marine natural products bioprospecting and collaboration opportunities at EU-OPENSCREEN”.
Fernando Reyes, Head of Chemistry at Fundación MEDINA, during the Session 3 - Marine Ecology & Biodiversity, talked about “Metabolomics studies on Micromonospora species producers of phocoenamicins“. At the posters exhibition Fernando also presented his poster about this topic.
