The 13th International Symposium on the Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms (GIM2016) will be held in East Lake International Conference Center in Wuhan, P. R. China during 16 – 20 October 2016.
GIM 2016 will focus on the most recent advances in the microbial sciences related to the applied microbial genetics and production of new molecules by industrial microorganisms, and a good opportunity for MEDINA to extend its relationships and international cooperation within the microbial genetics research community.
Posters sessions will be covering all frontier areas of fundamental and applied microbial genetics. MEDINA will contribute presenting its latest research progresses in genome mining and biosynthetic pathway identification of new natural product producing strains:
“Draft whole-genome sequence of Streptomyces caniferus CA-271066: A producer of new and known natural products.” D Oves-Costales, M Sánchez-Hidalgo, R Lacret and O Genilloud.
"Identification of the kocurin biosynthetic pathway from the draft whole genome sequence of the producer Kocuria palustris CA-276345."M Sánchez-Hidalgo, S Villanueva, D Oves-Costales, I González, O Genilloud
